Auto Shop Writer Platinum

Since 1982 MasterLink Software has provided a total package management system which includes the software, support, and upgrades. ASW 8 Platinum is a fully integrated system with powerful workorder development and tracking, client and vehicle management ( including detailed service records ), industry enhanced inventory management, full accounting ( including payroll ) and so much more. ASW 8 is the total software solution to manage your repair shop business, and even after 26 years, it continues to evolve with new technologies and business strategies.

Auto Shop Writer Gold

For those smaller businesses who need solid workorder management and client services, ASW 8 Gold provides a solid management system that interfaces with the Quickbooks ( Intuit ) accounting software. It derives directly from the Platinum version except with fewer features and options. It is, however, multi-user, can be run with the ADS client/server software, and has continuing support and upgrades available through the Developers Partnership Program. ASW Gold is fully upgradeable to the Platinum version.

Auto Shop Writer Silver

Just starting out, only need to run on a single computer, and need to minimize your investment ? ASW 8 Silver allows you to rent the software for a low monthly fee. It is a single user version of Auto Shop Writer Gold and can be upgraded to either Gold or Platinum.

Advantage Client Server

Developed by Extended Systems, this software package, when installed, immediately provides true client server properties to Auto Shop Writer. Simply installing the ADS software signals ASW 8 to change modes and work in true client/server operations. Users will immediately see a significant improvement in performance. A trial version is available to test the performance prior to an actual purchase. The software is sold in 5 user license increments, allowing 5 concurrent computers to access the data files at any given time. This product is recommended for anyone running over two workstations, but not required.

Developer's Partnership Program

ASW 8 Platinum and Gold software purchases, and upgrades, include 6 months of all inclusive support and updates. Thereafter, users can receive the same level of service by paying a nominal quarterly membership fee in the Developer's Partnership Program. Simply stated, there are no other charges when this membership is maintained, and there are no "time limits" or "incident counts". In fact, we'll often assist with simple hardware issues, and love to work directly with your computer techs to get you the best results.
